Matt Klainer
Vice President, Global Partnerships - Google Commerce
Matt Klainer is a Seattle-based professional with a strong background in partnerships and product management.
Currently, he leads all commercialization and partnership efforts for Google Commerce, focusing on Google's organic retail experiences, various payment products like Google Wallet and Google Pay, as well as online checkout flows and associated internal infrastructure for global payment processing.
He holds an MBA with concentrations in Management, Strategy, and Marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, a BA in International Relations from Tufts University, and has studied at Allendale Columbia.
Matt Klainer has held key roles at Google, serving as Vice President for Global Partnerships in Google Commerce, Vice President of Business Development for Google Health, and Vice President of Product Management, User Experience, and Business Development for Consumer Communications Products.
His experience at Google also includes senior leadership positions in partnerships, product development, and advertising business development.
Prior to his tenure at Google, he worked in global strategy roles at Thomson Legal & Regulatory, founded EYN Media, and served as Director of Sales at About.com post its acquisition of Sombasa Media.
