RevenueWire was founded in 2007, and for its first several years the company was known strictly as an affiliate / performance marketing network. I was brought on in November 2010 to build out the direct ecommerce platform side of RevenueWire’s business as a standalone, startup business unit. I led a team of business development and client service professionals to vastly overshoot all revenue projections, and we grew from startup business unit to a platform supporting top name brands representing hundreds of millions in annual revenue.

Coached and managed a team of 6 professional account executives to continually exceed monthly sales targets. Developed marketing plan, and ensured execution of all areas of the online and offline marketing mix.

Key Achievements:
- Sales: Managed and coached a team of 6 consultative sales professionals to consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, regularly exceeding already lofty targets by over 100%. 
- Marketing Automation: Automated internal custom CRM to reduce lead response times from next day response to < 30 mins. Led the design of a custom automated email template system that dramatically increased sales rep efficiency and email touchpoints (over 10x in some cases). This allowed us to scale considerably while maintaining a smaller team of highly qualified sales professionals (more automation to help more qualified people do more qualified work rather than simply adding more people).
- Product: Drove the product development and go-to-market strategy for the first product line extension, with the release of an enhanced ‘Premier’ edition of FunctionFox’s core product. Result was a significant increase in sales conversions among prospective customers, and an upsell rate of over 20% among existing customers. 
- Thought Leadership: Developed and hosted ‘FunctionFox Webinar Series’; a monthly webinar series featuring speakers and Q+A from many of the biggest names in the creative industry (our target market). Result was huge PR value through thought leadership, increased brand value through alignment with top influencers in our space, and significant lead generation value as we regularly had live webinar audiences of over 500 qualified attendees. 
- International: Commuted between Victoria, Canada and Sydney, Australia as part of an international team doing business worldwide.

Director of Sales and Marketing

Led a team of 6 consultative sales professionals to regularly meet and exceed quarterly sales targets. Drove all sales and marketing efforts, managing online and offline marketing.

Key Achievements:
- Sales: Managed and coached a team of 6 consultative sales professionals to consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, growing revenue by more than 2x projection.
- Marketing: Managed online and offline marketing campaigns, as well as agency partnerships for PR, SEO, media to increase market qualified leads by over 400%.  
- Strategy: Helped solidify positioning as a SaaS provider for creative agencies, resulting in FunctionFox becoming an industry leading solution within the creative agency space, dramatically increasing referrals, speaking opportunities, and unpaid marketing coverage.  
- Product Development / Product Marketing: Scoped and oversaw the development of ‘CEO Desktop’, an analytics dashboard that rolled up the key functionality and benefit of TimeFox into one single user view. Sales spiked dramatically in the year following the release of this much needed feature set.

I was brought on to the company shortly after inception to help ramp sales and business development efforts, helping the company grow from bootstrapped startup, to industry leader.

- Grew FunctionFox’s customer base from just over 100 customers to over 30,000 subscribers.
- Helped grow the company from bootstrapped startup, to profitability, to respected industry leader with a significant recurring revenue stream. 
- Successfully recruited the company’s first Fortune 500 client.
- Used strategic prospecting and sales funnel management to consistently rank as top business development executive each month.
