Matt Horwood

Matt Horwood is an experienced professional with a background in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resources Management and Information Systems from Simon Fraser University.

Currently, Matt serves as the Manager of HR Systems and Analytics at BC Hydro, where he plays a pivotal role in managing human resources systems and leveraging data analytics for informed decision-making.

Matt has held various positions at BC Hydro, including SAP Portal Business Lead, Relationship Manager, and Business Lead for the EMPower Project, showcasing his expertise in SAP portal development and project management.

Prior to his tenure at BC Hydro, Matt gained experience as a Recruitment Specialist during the 2010 Winter Games, worked as a Human Resources Business Partner and Manager at ALS Laboratory Group, and served as an HR Generalist at Raytheon Canada Limited.

His diverse roles have equipped him with a comprehensive skill set in human resources, project leadership, data analytics, and SAP portal development.
