With a keen interest in understanding the intricacies of the injection molding business, Matt pursued a Polymer Processing trade qualification at TAFE. This deepened his technical knowledge and equipped him for future challenges. In a bid to merge his operational expertise with business acumen, he moved into sales and eventually took on the role of Business Development Manager at A Plus Plastics & Tooling in New South Wales. His experiences allowed him to interface with clients from various industries, which heightened his passion for finding strategic solutions that catalyzed their growth.
In 2010, Matt's hard work and dedication paid off when he accepted the role of Managing Director at A Plus Plastics & Tooling. Under his proactive leadership, the company has thrived, showcasing significant advancements in operational efficiency and innovation within the injection molding sector. Continuing his journey of strategic growth, in February 2020, he facilitated the acquisition of Australian Drainage Modules – Ausdrain™. This acquisition showcases his commitment to diversifying and scaling the business effectively. Ausdrain™ specializes in the manufacture and distribution of essential drainage cell products and advanced modular underground tanks aimed at enhancing rainwater harvesting and stormwater management.
