Matt Hill

Matt Hill is a professional night photographer with a strong dedication to education. He is one of the partners at National Parks at Night, focusing on providing exceptional experiences for workshop and photo tour attendees worldwide.

Matt and his team established the Night Photo Summit, the first virtual conference dedicated to various forms of night photography. They also acquired the Nightscaper Conference, a leading in-person event for astro-landscape photographers and scientists to collaborate under dark skies.

Prior to his current ventures, Matt's career spanned over 25 years in marketing, working with renowned photography, video, and audio brands like MAC Group, B&H, and Sinar Bron Imaging. Starting at Sandrian Camera in NJ, Matt's early experience in photofinishing and retail laid the foundation for his lifelong connection to photography, which started back in his teenage years.

A brand ambassador for NOVOFLEX, Calibrite, and Benro, Matt also secures sponsorships for National Parks at Night, the summit, and conference from industry leaders such as Acratech, B&H, BenQ, and others.

Matt's educational background includes studies at altMBA, Raritan Valley Community College majoring in Fine Arts, Photography, and English, and education at Hunterdon Central Regional High School.

Throughout his professional journey, Matt has held various roles including Educational Marketing at MAC Group, Workshop Instructor & Co-Founder at National Parks at Night, LLC, Artist/Photographer at Matt Hill Art, Inc, Director of Marketing Innovation at MAC Group, and positions at B&H Photo Video and Sinar Bron Imaging.
