Matt Haning

Matt Haning is an experienced education and training professional with a decade of experience in the field, including seven years of cross-cultural living and three years of managing an international non-profit organization in Myanmar.
His expertise lies in multi-cultural communication, partner empowerment, teaching and learning, and non-profit leadership. He possesses management qualities such as being a proactive communicator, warm and competent, empathic, accountable, honest, and culturally sensitive.
Matt holds a Master of Arts in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from George Fox University, a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Wheaton College, a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Spanish from Linfield College, and a diploma from Tigard High School.
He has held various positions including Case Manager at Lutheran Community Services Northwest, Country Director at Remember Nhu in Myanmar, ELL Instructional Assistant at Tigard-Tualatin School District, Instructor at ELS Educational Services, Inc., and Team Lead & Instructor at English Language Institute/China (ELIC).
