Matt Hammer

Matt Hammer is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Staylah, a vacation rental collective based in Winter Park, Florida.1 He has been in this role since April 2022.1 Prior to founding Staylah, Matt was a Partner at Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners for nearly 14 years, where he focused on growth, culture enrichment, and client success through risk and insurance strategies.1

Matt's professional background includes experience in commercial risk management and insurance. He worked as an Account Director at Harden from 2006 to 2010 and as an Account Executive at Jack Rice Insurance from 2005 to 2006.1

Matt Hammer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University's College of Business, which he attended from 2000 to 2005.1 He has several professional certifications, including Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) from The Institutes.1 Recently, he completed courses in Hotel Real Estate Investments & Asset Management from Cornell University and Franchise Business Model Mastery from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business.1
