Matt Garratt is a General Partner at U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), a prominent venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. Before his role at USVP, Garratt served as a Senior Vice President and Managing Partner at Salesforce Ventures, where he was instrumental in building one of the largest corporate venture arms in the tech industry. During his tenure at Salesforce from 2013 to 2021, he led investments in notable companies such as Anaplan, Gainsight, MuleSoft, Snowflake, Twilio, and Zoom, achieving returns exceeding $2 billion.134 He also held a position as a General Partner at CRV prior to joining USVP, focusing on enterprise software investments.23

Education

Garratt holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Purdue University, along with an MBA and a Master's in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan.34
