Matt Fidanque

Policy Analyst and Community Organizer, MPP

Matt Fidanque is an accomplished professional with an extensive educational background in Public Policy and Environmental Studies.

He holds a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Politics from Oberlin College.

Matt has valuable experience working with various organizations, where his roles have ranged from Policy Researcher and Community Organizer at the West Oakland Environmental Indicators Project to Energy Intern at the Environmental Defense Fund.

He has also served as a Public Relations Assistant at One Block Off the Grid, College Professor at Lijiang College of Tourism and Culture, and Volunteer Trainer/English Consultant at The Nature Conservancy.

His diverse professional experience includes positions such as Communications Intern at ForestEthics, Executive Assistant at iAmplify, and Energy and Transportation Coordinator at the Jack D. Hidary Foundation.

Matt has also contributed to the United Nations as an Intern at the World Information Transfer and worked as a Research Assistant at the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide.
