I co-founded Octopy with one clear vision: To create a more human-focused future of work. 
This has long been my personal mission--to help build a world where work is a source of fulfillment for the majority and not just the select few. With this as our guiding goal, our team continues to build content and curriculums that help leaders and organizations be more intentional and impactful with how they approach attracting and developing talent, as well as building organizational cultures that truly represent their vision and values. 

As the longest-tenured member of the team, I wear many hats, some of which are: Chief Content Developer, Lead Speaker & Facilitator, and Brand Vision & Voice Leader. As Octopy grows beyond workshops and courses, I look forward to exploring the new ways we can help build more human-focused workforce practices in innovative ways!

I decided to close down official operations at S&P30s in order to expand my offerings and vision. Salt & Pepper 30s has transitioned into the company that is now Octopy.

My core function as the Product Manager of Identity, Favorites and VIP is to build, manage and prioritize roadmaps & backlogs for these three products. I use a data-driven approach to test and iterate upon existing products while innovating on new opportunities within scope. This position reports directly to the product manager of Website, and works closely with business, operations, research, and technology teams across the Zappos organization on a daily basis.


Main responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business drivers, goals, and actionable outcomes using analytics.
- Creating and managing a value-driven product roadmap & backlog. 
- Participating in strategic and tactical planning discussions.
- Cultivating a deep understanding of the customer(s)--both internal and external--and working tirelessly to identify new opportunities to improve our experience.
- Providing thought leadership on product vision and strategy and coordinate via alignment of roadmaps across platforms and products.
- Establishing a repeatable and agile framework for end to end product development from ideation to delivery.
- Working collaboratively with engineering, UX, UR, and Product Management to improve how we deliver products.
- Maintaining a high level of communication across the organization for major changes in these product categories. 
- Managing the prioritization of the SuperCloud migration project for Identity, VIP, and Transactional Emails. 
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization.

Product Manager - Favorites, Identity, VIP

In this new role, I'm applying learnings from my roles product managing Identity, Favorites & VIP to Email & Personalization. My experience coordinating with Amazon counterparts, bridging worlds working in different methodologies, and leveraging data throughout the decision-making process are what help propel me in the role. This position works directly to the head of Digital Customer Experience and works closely with business, operations, research, & technology teams across Zappos & Amazon on a daily basis.

Main responsibilities include:
- Driving and iterating upon a site-wide Personalization roadmap. 
- Directing a high-performing development team in Seattle, WA with regard to priorities and next actions. 
- Collaborating with various Zappos stakeholders to understand business and customer demand for products and functionality.
- Providing thought leadership on product vision and strategy for Personalization and integration points.
- Establishing a repeatable and agile framework for decision making and end-to-end product development.
- Working collaboratively with engineering, UX, UR, and business teams to improve the customer experience.
- Maintaining a high level of communication across the organization for major changes in these product categories.  
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization.

As the PM for Innovation Platforms, my focus is building enterprise solutions that increase the efficiency of the innovation process at Zappos. Our platform helps users in the following innovation stages:

Product Manager - Personalization, Email, Innovation Platforms

As the YouTube Strategy Owner, I lead the Zappos social digital video content strategy as well as overseeing the longterm vision for both the Zappos.com and ZapposGear YouTube channels. 

Responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining brand voice guidelines
- Creating and maintaining video upload, tagging, description, and categorization guidelines
- Creating and maintaining PR, Events, and Partnership video guidelines
- Working with social media partners to create digital video distribution strategies that coordinate across YouTube, Facebook, Twitter ,Vine, Instagram, and Vimeo. 
- Working with Brand Partnership teams to build a sustainable co-op strategy
- Working with our Google Account Team to create a compelling, effective multi-channel strategy
- Managing a catalogue of over 2,000 videos
- Working with internal and external AV teams to guide projects and ensure their quality

As a phones team member, I helped support customers directly through our phones channel. During this time, I received multiple shout outs on NPS surveys. Also, I made my 1st Specialty Team only 108 days after hire (employees aren't allowed to even apply for one until 90 days after hire). 

As a RACECAR level 2 team member (email team), I helped support customer service efforts through Zappos' email direct response channel. Some initiatives I helped develop & drive while a member of this team:

- Developed and implemented brand new membership retention plan based on new program development and community partnerships.
- Supervised membership department, comprised of 20 employees (4 direct-reports, 16 indirect).
- Re-engineered old, and developed new marketing and membership materials for the YMCA of Pueblo.
- Transitioned the marketing and membership materials for the YMCA of Pueblo to meet “YMCA of the USA” standards during the nationwide “Y” Re-branding.
- Was responsible for the hiring, training, and evaluation of member service desk staff to maximize member services provided by the branch with the direct goal of raising membership retention.
- Revamped the member services employee training program with new methods such as mentoring, longer shadowing sessions, personal SWOT analysis, and ongoing evaluation.

- Managed money-bag distribution, supervised cash and checked transactions, and ensured proper close-outs by all Member Services staff.

Member Services Lead

The Coordinator of Off-Campus Housing at UNC is in charge of working with students, staff, and faculty to ensure that they are maximizing their quality of life while living off-campus during their tenure at UNC. I also work with property management companies, Greeley city officials, and other related companies to organize resources and help protect students, staff, and faculty from any legal, ethical, or otherwise important issues that may arise from interacting with these entities.
