Matt Doyle

Matt Doyle is a seasoned professional with 24 years of experience working with Stanford Football. His current role involves overseeing the football program's daily operations and serving as the Director of Player Development. Matt is pivotal in establishing the 'Card4Life' program, aimed at creating career development opportunities for the community and football student-athletes. He collaborates with various entities, including Stanford's BEAM Career Education and business leaders in Silicon Valley. Additionally, Matt acts as a liaison to the NFL, agents, and NFL scouts. Apart from his duties at Stanford, he is an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco, teaching a graduate course on Sports Management and Leadership. On a national level, Matt contributes to athletic administration by serving on committees such as the Rose Bowl Game Advisory Committee and the College Football Playoff Advisory Committee. He has been recognized for his contributions, being awarded the Football Operations Director of the Year in 2012. Prior to his role at Stanford, Matt taught history, government, and journalism at Saint Francis High School. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from UC Davis and a master's degree in sport management from the University of San Francisco. Matt resides in Redwood City with his wife and two children.
