He obtained his Master of Science (M.S.) degree from the University of Evansville, where he honed his skills in areas such as leadership, policy analysis, and organizational management. Prior to his Master's degree, Matt completed his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Sociology at the University of Southern Indiana, gaining valuable knowledge in social behavior and cultural dynamics.

With an extensive career at the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office, Matt Corn has held various positions that showcase his commitment to public service and law enforcement. He has served as a Lieutenant, Sergeant, Deputy Sheriff, and Confinement Officer, demonstrating his versatility and expertise in different roles within the organization. As a Lieutenant, Matt is responsible for overseeing operations, supervising personnel, and ensuring the effective implementation of law enforcement protocols. His experience as a Sergeant equipped him with leadership skills and the ability to manage teams efficiently while prioritizing public safety.
