    Matthew Spoke

Founder & Managing Partner of Ripple Ventures

Matt Cohen, the CEO of Moves, has a diverse background that has prepared him well for his current role as the leader of a digital credit union for the gig economy. With a strong interest in the social benefits of decentralized technologies, Matt has been a keynote speaker at several tech conferences and written articles for well-known publications such as Forbes and TechCrunch. He has also advised governments on the regulatory implications of new technologies such as blockchain on the finance industry. Matt's experience as a CPA with Deloitte paved the way for him to become the founder of the world's first blockchain-focused business for a global consulting firm. Following this, he started his software company, raising over $50m and opening offices in different parts of the world. However, it was a conversation with an Uber driver that inspired him to pivot his business towards addressing the systemic problems facing workers in the gig economy, leading Move's inception.
