Matt Bumgardner is an accomplished Product and Engineering Leader with a wealth of experience building cross-discipline teams that deliver impactful results. Mr. Bumgardner has dedicated his career to solving challenging problems that require bold and innovative solutions. He excels at building remote teams to deliver products millions of users have come to love. With a degree in Computer Science from Marquette University and a passion for organizational transformation, product strategy, and team execution, Mr. Bumgardner has built an impressive resume in his field.

His experience includes serving as Director of Product, Mobile at Automattic, where he leads the development of WooCommerce. Additionally, he served as Head of Growth Engineering for Tumblr, Engineering Director and Product Lead for WordPress Mobile, Engineering Manager and Product Lead for Simplenote, and Lead iOS Engineer for WooCommerce and WordPress, all under the umbrella of Automattic. Matt's prior experience also includes serving as a Mobile Engineer (iOS & Android) at Centare, Senior Software Project Engineer at Rockwell Automation, Principal Architect at Assurant Health, and Software Engineer at several organizations.
