Mat Tiffaney Schippert Conner

Mat Tiffaney Schippert Conner is a freelance writer and consultant with a diverse background. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Exceptional Student Education, a Master of Library and Information Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Prior to her current role, Mat has worked in various positions such as a Content Writer for Cannabis Tech, Freelance Medical Writer for Southwest Florida Health and Wellness Magazine, Contributing Writer for Florida Grass Roots Magazine, among others.

Mat holds herself accountable for positive change in the community by founding Kind Conversations, a platform that connects individuals through dialogue and compassion. Aside from her writing, she has also worked as an Education Volunteer at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, Product Coordinator for Cannabis at Trulieve, Lead Patient Cannabis Educator at Compassionate Cannabis Clinic, and Ray Tank Educator (seasonal) at Tampa Bay Rays.

In addition, Mat has been a Poll Worker for Sarasota County Government, Media Specialist at the Suncoast School for Innovative Studies, and Behavior Specialist at St. Bernard Parish School Board and Children's Home of Detroit. She has also completed a course at Hurricane Island Outward Bound School.
