Mason Sinclair

Mason Sinclair is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in business, engineering, and innovation.

He pursued his education at prestigious institutions, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cape Town.

With a strong foundation in education, Mason went on to hold significant roles in various organizations, showcasing his expertise and leadership skills.

Currently, he serves as a Deep Tech Investor at Octopus Ventures, where he utilizes his experience to drive innovation and growth in the tech sector.

Prior to his current role, Mason held positions at influential organizations, including a consultancy role at the United Nations and an investment role at Creator Fund.

During his academic journey, Mason was actively involved in the venture capital and private equity sector, serving as the Vice President at Cambridge University Venture Capital and Private Equity Society.

His career also includes roles such as Investment Manager, Innovation Advisory Team Manager, and Innovation Advisor at Newable, demonstrating his versatility and proficiency in the innovation space.

Before his tenure at Newable, Mason founded and led The Inspiration Lab, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and vision.

With a background in leadership development, he participated in the Leadership Development Program at Air Liquide, further honing his skills in management and organizational growth.
