Mason Marks

Mason Marks is a legal and medical professional with expertise in health law and policy. He is currently a visiting professor of law at Harvard Law School and holds the position of Florida Bar Health Law Section Professor at Florida State University College of Law.24 Marks is also a senior fellow and project lead of the Project on Psychedelics Law and Regulation at the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School.14
Dr. Marks holds both an MD and JD, indicating his background in both medicine and law.2 His work focuses on the intersection of health, law, and technology, with particular emphasis on drug policy and regulation. He has written about the FDA's use of computer simulations in drug policy, specifically regarding kratom regulation.1
