Masanori Aoki is a highly experienced Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese translator, with a strong background in intercultural communication. With over 15 years of experience as a self-employed or in-house translator, Masanori has an impressive track record in translating various business documents, including contracts, tender documents, feasibility study reports, and proposals for international projects.
Over the past four years, Masanori has focused on translating projects related to solar power generation and the official development assistance (ODA) of Japan. He has gained extensive experience in navigating the complexities of global projects where corruption, bribery, and parochialism are commonplace. Through these experiences, Masanori has learned the value of patience in navigating challenging situations.
Masanori holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry from Tokyo University of Science and a Bachelor's Degree in History from California State University-San Bernardino. He has worked as a consultant for Japan's ODA-funded projects at Sigma Engineering Co., Ltd. and previously held positions as a registered translator at Simul Business Communications Inc. and other firms. He has also worked as a Human Resources Specialist at the General Affairs Department at Tokyo University of Social Welfare.
In his free time, Masanori enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
