Masami Kawazato

Masami Kawazato is a highly accomplished professional in the art and cultural industry, with experience in program direction, events coordination, project management, and visitor and member services. Masami has an impressive educational background, having studied at American School in Japan for high school and later went on to study at Macalester College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, specializing in European history, French, and music. Additionally, Masami studied French at Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III.

Masami has worked for various organizations, including the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council where she currently serves as the program director. Before that, she was the events coordinator at Bogart's Doughnut Company and the project manager at Smallest Museum in St Paul. She has also held positions at Minneapolis Institute of Arts, The Curator's Curator, Soo Visual Arts Center, Kingfield and Fulton Farmers Markets, and Walker Art Center.

Masami's expertise and skills include program direction, event coordination, project management, visitor and member services, organizational development, fundraising, community outreach, and arts administration. She is a valuable asset to any organization in the art and cultural industry.
