Mary Nichols

Mary Nichols, also known as DJ Fusion of the FuseBox Radio and The Futon Dun, boasts an extensive career as a podcast and radio host, event and mix DJ, photographer, and speaker.

Mary's educational background includes a BA in American Studies from Rutgers University, an Associate of Arts in Labor Studies from Eastern Gateway Community College, and further studies at Graduate School USA.

Throughout her career, Mary has been involved in various organizations such as BlackRadioIsBack.com, TheFutonDun.com, FuseBox Media, FuseBox Radio Broadcast, Studio One Productions, Spaces, Offices, National League For Nursing, TEDxOrlando, Cablevision, Youth At Risk, The Industry Cosign, Full Frequency Sound, and Rutgers University.

Mary has held roles ranging from founder and writer to radio and podcast personality, freelance photographer, writer, speaker, and consultant, demonstrating her diverse skill set and passion for media and community engagement.

With over two decades of experience in the industry since 1998, Mary Nichols continuously utilizes her expertise to contribute to the world of Black radio and beyond.
