Mary Henry
(She/Her) Designer at Pentagram
Mary Kate Henry is a Brooklyn-based independent designer who previously worked at Pentagram New York as part of Eddie Opara's design team.1 She began her professional career at Avec, a women-run design studio in Soho, before joining Pentagram.1 After leaving Pentagram, she started exploring her own independent practice and is currently freelancing at NYC creative agency Buck.14
At Pentagram, Mary Kate worked on various projects, including the rebranding of Coqual, a nonprofit global think tank and advisory group dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion.2 She contributed to developing a new brand identity framework for Coqual, encompassing brand strategy, naming, messaging, and website design.2

Mary Kate is also the creator of resource-resource.co, a submission-based website that collects and celebrates sustainable design projects.1 She graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania4 and was recognized as a featured alum by the university.3
