Mary Hamann

Mary Dang Hamann is an accomplished educator and professional with a diverse background in teaching, martial arts, and retail.

Mary pursued her undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Economics with a minor in Theater.

Continuing her academic journey, she completed her Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Adolescent Education Mathematics, Grades 7-12 at Relay Graduate School of Education.

With a passion for education, Mary has served as a High School Mathematics Teacher within the NYC Department of Education, where she imparts knowledge and inspires young minds.

Her commitment to education also led her to work as a Math Fellow with NYC Teaching Fellows, providing support and guidance to aspiring teachers.

Mary's versatility is evident in her past roles, including Assistant Instructor at Modern Martial Arts NYC, Preschool Teacher at Little Nest Learning Center, and Head Start Preschool Teacher and Math Tutor at YMCA of Central Ohio.

Drawing on her retail experience, she has also held positions as Associate Merchant at Abercrombie & Fitch and Supervisor at Baker Library at Dartmouth College.
