Marwan Chaar is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with a background in mechanical engineering and renewable energy. He is the managing director and co-founder of Carzaty, the Middle East's first multi-brand online auto-retailer. Marwan previously served as the VP of Project Development at GlassPoint Solar, where he oversaw the development of new projects in the Middle East and originated and structured $2B of solar projects. He also founded and managed FuGu Energy, a solar power company, and co-founded Impact Hub Dubai, a community space that supports social entrepreneurship. Marwan holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
