Marwan Al Abedin is a prominent figure in the financial industry with over 20 years of experience. He is the CEO and Founder of Flatrace Investments, where he provides strategic leadership and vision for the firm. Prior to this, he served as CEO of an Investment Fund within the Government of Dubai, where he executed over USD 40 Billion worth of transactions.

Mr. Al Abedin has also held several other esteemed positions throughout his career. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors for Noor Bank, Dubai Healthcare Authority and Emaar Properties PJSC, as well as Chairman of its Investment Committee. He led the USD $26 Billion restructuring of Dubai World and was instrumental in negotiating terms and conditions for the USD $4.1 Billion funds injection for Nakheel in association with Abu Dhabi Department of Finance and UAE Central Bank. He was also involved in setting up and managing the operations of the DFSF, where he worked with GRE's for their funding requirements due to any mismatches and Maximizing cash utilizations.

Mr. Al Abedin studied the Global Executive Leadership Program in Leadership at Yale School of Management, and completed his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics & Political Science at Wake Forest University. He has received a number of awards throughout his career, including the CEO Leadership Program: Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development in September 2017.
