Marvin Oey is a Senior Solutions Engineer at Acquia, a prominent cloud-based digital experience management solutions provider.

At Acquia, Marvin engages with clients to demonstrate how a Digital Experience Platform (DXP) can enhance digital experiences for users, going beyond traditional Content Management Systems (CMS) to incorporate advanced data collection, storage, distribution, and analysis.

Marvin's role allows him to work with a variety of technologies including PHP, Drupal, React, Vue, and Angular to drive innovation and develop DXP solutions tailored to each client's objectives.

With a background in Civil Engineering, Marvin also holds a Professional Engineer License in Virginia and occasionally works on transportation engineering, land development, stormwater management, and geotechnical engineering projects.

He has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and has also studied Civil Engineering at The University of New Mexico.
