Martin Marzidovsek is a professional with a diverse background in machine learning, data science, digital entrepreneurship, audio-visual media, and arts.
He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence with a focus on machine learning and data science from Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School.
Additionally, he pursued a Master's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
Marzidovsek also has education in Transmedia Production, Media Business, Digital Tech Entrepreneurship, and Cultural Studies and Social Anthropology.
Throughout his career, he has been associated with various prominent organizations and held key positions such as Expert Creative Europe MEDIA at the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission.
He has also served as a Researcher and Exploitation Manager at Jozef Stefan Institute and as a Data Analyst consultant at the European Commission.
Marzidovsek has experience as a CEO and Co-Founder at bSTOKED, a Project Manager and Researcher at Transparency International Slovenia, and as a Communications Officer/Business Analyst at PIRC.
His involvement in the film industry includes roles such as a Film Programmer, Member of feature film selection committee at the Geneva International Film Festival Tous Ecrans, and a Film Producer at Suigeneris Films.
Moreover, he has worked as a Diplomatic Assistant at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Slovenia to the United Nations in Geneva and as a Film Programmer and Project Manager at the Ljubljana International Film Festival (Liffe).
