Martin Eschle is an accomplished industry expert with a long-standing career in retail-banking, telecom, and energy. He holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, and has extensive experience in risk management, portfolio management, sales, and product management. Eschle is deeply interested in new and sustainable technologies and has a sharp analysis of customer needs, focusing on customer satisfaction and reducing ecological footprints. He aims to integrate energy and efficiency management of traditional and new technologies to create innovative business models for renewable energy and decentralized technologies. He also sees the growing importance of water production as an infrastructure service. Eschle has held various senior executive positions, including Former Leiter Beschaffung at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel, Former Head Retail & DSM at Alpiq AG, Former President of the Board of Directors at Alpiq Versorgungs AG, and Former Head of Business Development at Axpo AG. He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors at Time-Steps.
