Martijn de Wit

Martijn de Wit is an interaction designer with a strong passion for technology and the Internet, driving his work and continuous learning and growth.

With a diverse background in roles such as interaction designer, UX design consultant, front-end developer/architect, and Drupal consultant, Martijn integrates the best of both worlds in his work.

He is dedicated to personal and professional development, actively participating in meetings to both learn and share knowledge through presentations and workshops.

Co-founding Ablerz in 2017 with Kobus, Martijn embarked on a new business challenge after a decade of experience at an IT services company.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of ICT in Communication and Multimedia Design, Interaction, and Information design from Avans University of Applied Sciences, as well as a Business Course focused on high-performance team (HPT) from Ohio University.

In his professional journey, Martijn has held positions such as Drupal Consultant, Front-end Developer & Partner at Ablerz, Drupal Consultant - Front-end Architect at RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, User Experience designer at Philips, Interaction designer at Sociale Verzekeringsbank, Art Director/Interaction designer at witgroen, Interaction designer at Nuon, Solution architect & Drupal consultant at Sogeti Nederland BV, and Interaction designer & Front-end developer as a Freelancer.
