Marti Lemp
Educator
Marti Lemp, an accomplished educator with extensive leadership experience, is passionate about providing impactful and engaging educational opportunities. Lemp earned her B.A. in Economics from Yale University and her M.A.T. in Teaching Social Studies from Brown University. She further honed her skills with a Certification in International School Leadership from the Principals' Training Center.
Lemp transformed an international Middle School by creating a dynamic bilingual program, enhancing the sense of community, fostering teacher mentorship, and developing innovative curricula to engage students and enhance learning. She also established an outreach program to enrich the lives of children in a local orphanage. Lemp founded and led a non-profit educational association in francophone West Africa, expanding co-curricular activities and creating wellness programs to focus on social and emotional learning.
Her experience spans across various organizations, including positions as a Senior Program Advisor and a Program Consultant at SquashBusters. Lemp also previously held the positions of Middle School Director and Teacher at the International School of Boston and taught English for Speakers of Other Languages. She was a board secretary at the Garret Park Nursery School, a tutor at Roberta Bren Tutoring services, and a history and economics teacher at Montgomery County Public Schools.
Marti Lemp's skills in team building and creative problem-solving and her ability to define and implement a vision make her an expert in leadership and mentorship. Her interests are in innovative curricula, social and emotional learning, and outreach programs.
