Martha Rinker is a highly accomplished public affairs and government relations professional with vast experience at the national, state, and local levels in both private and public sectors. Martha has a strong understanding of healthcare policy issues, and her proven hands-on lobbying, legislative analysis, regulatory and public affairs issues management, coalition building, and grassroots advocacy training have led to outstanding results in her career.
Martha studied Criminal Justice/Political Science at Northeastern University, followed by a JD degree from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law. Her career spans across different organizations, including her role as the Vice President for Public Policy at the National Organization for Rare Disorders, Chief Advocacy Officer at American Association of Diabetes Educators, Senior Director for Policy, Practice and Advocacy/Legislative Counsel at American Podiatric Medical Association, and Director of Government Relations at American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association.
In different capacities, Martha has led and participated in the development of policy and legislative solutions for various healthcare- related issues. She has advocated for high-quality, patient-centered care and obtained funding to improve access to health services, particularly for underserved populations. Her work has earned her recognition and numerous awards.
