During Fundbox's establishment in 2013, the company has secured over $300 million in funding from a distinguished group of investors, with Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst, Spark Growth Capital, and Jeff Bezos taking the lead.

Prior to his role at Fundbox, Marten held key positions in renowned firms, including being a vital member of the Investment team at TCG, a senior investment professional at Coatue Management specializing in growth stage investments within consumer internet and enterprise software sectors.

His career highlights encompass involvement in notable investments such as Stash Invest, Deep Instinct, Anaplan, Domino Data Labs, Cerebras Systems, GrabTaxi, and Jet.com. Marten also held portfolio management duties for Avvo and Lyft.
