Marny Smith is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the private sector, nonprofit sector, and higher education.
With a primary focus on human resources, recruiting, job coaching, and resume-writing, Marny's true passion lies in helping individuals advance in their careers.
Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Graduate Career Services at the Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College, she is dedicated to guiding students and alumni through all career stages.
Marny's educational background includes a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College, CUNY, a Bachelor's degree in Literature from The New School, and schooling at The Bronx High School of Science.
She has been actively involved in various organizations, such as being a Founding Member at PUSH for Empowered Pregnancy and holding positions like Certified Professional Resume Writer, Employment Specialist, HR Generalist, and Technical Recruiter in different companies.
Her past roles also include Director of Customer Support, Co-Founder of an Advisory Board, Publicity Manager, and Casting Assistant in diverse settings.
