Marlene LaMontagne, a dedicated individual, is always on the lookout for new challenges to contribute towards making the world a better place. Her commendable achievements include receiving the Alberta 2005 Centennial Award, the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Council for Canadian Unity, a Life Member Award from the Regina Council of Women, and having served as the Past President of the Regina Women's Canadian Club. Marlene's educational background comprises studying History at the University of Regina and achieving a BGS; BA with Distinction, with a Major in History and a Minor in Geography from the University of Calgary. In terms of her organizational involvement, Marlene has held various key positions such as being a Candidate for the Liberal Party of Canada in Calgary Southwest, a Past President of the Canadian Club of Calgary, a Senator at the University of Calgary, a Regional Co-ordinator at the Terry Fox Foundation, and having multiple involvements with the Liberal Party of Canada.
