Marlena Oyarce

Marlena Oyarce is a recent graduate from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, with a major in Public Health and a minor in Chemistry. Her professional aspirations include further studies in medicine while continuing to explore Public Health, with a keen interest in global health issues like clean water, sanitation, and nutrition. Marlena is a licensed EMT in New Jersey and has volunteered for her local EMT squad in Laurence Harbor, NJ, where she honed her communication skills and practical medical knowledge. Transitioning from EMT duties, she currently works as a Patient Observer at Hackensack Meridian Health, managing the Avasys Monitoring System, conducting patient rounds, and providing one-on-one patient care when necessary.
