Marla Aaron

Marla Aaron is a New York-based jewelry designer and entrepreneur. She began her eponymous collection in 2012, inspired by her fascination with bridges, hardware, and jewelry. Marla's designs are recognized for their streamlined, industrial aesthetic, while maintaining a deep connection to the emotional and personal Victorian and Georgian era jewelry. Her growing collection includes bracelets, bangles, ear cuffs, and rings that can be worn in infinite ways and used as jewel tools to redefine the "precious" in jewelry with individuality. Before pursuing her passion for jewelry, Marla spent nearly 25 years as a global communication executive, serving in senior roles for publishers and advertising agencies in Europe and the United States. Marla graduated with a BS in Communications from Syracuse University and an MS in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.

In addition to her work as a designer, Marla is also the founder of the #lockyourmom project, which provides single moms with sterling silver baby Heartlocks. The initiative has given out hundreds of locks to deserving single moms all over the country.
