Markus Okumus is a highly accomplished and experienced serial entrepreneur-turned-investor with over 20 years of experience in operating businesses across multiple industries and markets. He has built and sold several companies, including exits to prominent companies such as Axel Springer and Naspers. Markus is at the forefront of the tech-enabled health movement, and he is on a mission to make a bold change in the global healthcare system.

Being extremely conscious about his health, Markus suffered a debilitating disk illness in 2015, which changed his approach to health drastically. Since then, he has been heavily invested in preventive health and wellness, leveraging his extensive network to connect health entrepreneurs and investors with experts from leading research institutes and public organizations.

Markus has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in Marketing and Communication, from HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich. He currently resides between San Francisco and Zurich and enjoys spending time with his family in his free time.
