Markus Krötzsch
Professor for Knowledge-Based Systems at TU Dresden
Markus Krötzsch, born on May 6, 1981, in Rodewisch, Germany, is a prominent German computer scientist and Professor for Knowledge-Based Systems at the Faculty of Computer Science at the Technical University of Dresden (TU Dresden).12 He leads the research group focused on intelligent management and processing of information in computer systems.5
Krötzsch's academic journey began with studying computer science and logic at TU Dresden, completing his master's degree in 2005.1 He then pursued his doctoral studies at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, obtaining his Ph.D. in 2010.16 Following his doctorate, he worked at the University of Oxford from 2010 to 2013, ultimately becoming a Department Lecturer.16
