He obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Duke University, followed by a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Mark also completed a clinical internship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Since 1976, Mark has been actively involved in various roles across different settings, including inpatient medicine and psychiatry, community mental health centers, child and adolescent clinics, HMO clinics, private practice, as well as serving as a consultant for family-owned businesses.
