Mark Keene

Mark V. Keene is a seasoned investment banking executive currently serving as the Global Head of Technology Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory at Citi.1 He joined Citi in September 2019 and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.12

Prior to his role at Citi, Keene had a distinguished career at Deutsche Bank, where he spent over 13 years.2 His positions at Deutsche Bank included:

• Managing Director, Global Co-Head of Technology, Media & Telecom Investment Banking (March 2016 - September 2019)
• Managing Director, Americas Head of Technology Investment Banking (May 2006 - March 2016)1

Before Deutsche Bank, Keene worked at Lehman Brothers for nearly 12 years (August 1994 - May 2006) as a Managing Director, where he ran the Semiconductor Group in Investment Banking.1

Keene's move to Citi was part of a significant hiring initiative by the bank to bolster its investment banking division.2 His expertise in technology banking has been recognized in the industry, with Citi continuing to invest in dedicated vertical software domain expertise under his leadership.3
