Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson is a regulatory attorney with a focus on food, food packaging, GMOs, industrial chemicals, cosmetics, drugs, and consumer products compliance.

He has extensive experience in advising business and trade associations on regulations in the U.S., EU, and various Asian countries such as China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

Having lived and worked in China since 2001, Mark possesses deep expertise in navigating regulatory frameworks in the Asian region.

Mark Thompson is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, both written and verbal.

He holds a Juris Doctorate in Law from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Chinese Language, and Literature from The University of Georgia.

Currently, Mark serves as a Partner at Keller and Heckman LLP, a prominent law firm specializing in regulatory and business law.

Prior to his current role, Mark held various positions at Keller and Heckman LLP, including Counsel, Associate, and Summer Associate.

He also gained professional experience as a Paralegal and Translator at Zhang & Yan, P.C., and as a Translator and Legal Assistant at 'China Law Firm' LEHMAN, LEE & XU.

Mark Thompson's diverse background includes serving as an English Teacher at East China Normal University and as a Data Analyst at New South Publishing.
