Mark Sun

Mark Sun is a technopreneur, hacker, and creative director, known for his expertise in design and algorithms.

He is the Co-Founder of MotionElements.com, the leading marketplace for global stock media content in Asia. Mark has spoken at prestigious events like Slush ASIA (Tokyo) on IT infrastructure architecture for MotionElements, invited by IBM.

Mark Sun has received accolades such as the Promising SME 500 Awards, recognizing his excellence and leadership in the business community in Singapore.

Beyond his role at MotionElements, he is the Creative Director and Co-Founder of Emoxis, a renowned post-production studio in Singapore. Mark's creative journey began in film direction and motion graphics design, working with renowned clients like Unilever, P&G, VISA, ESPN Star Sports, and others.

He has a strong educational background, having studied Advanced Directing + Cinematography at Vancouver Film School, earned a Second Upper Class Honours Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from Nanyang Technological University, and attended Raffles Junior College and The Chinese High School for his high school education.

Mark Sun's contribution to the industry is also evident from his past roles as the CTO/CEO at MotionElements.com and as the former Creative Director at Emoxis. He has been part of the jury for esteemed awards such as New York Festivals, INTERCOM, Promax BDA, and Apollo Awards.
