Mark Somol

Mark Somol is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in technology, venture capital, and business leadership. He currently serves as Executive in Residence at Progress Partners and is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Hyacinth AI, an AI platform focused on workplace productivity. Additionally, he is the CEO of Online Moderation, Inc., which specializes in social customer service and reputation management.

Previously, Mark was the Co-Founder and CEO of Zeal Technology Inc., Co-Founder and CEO of Engaged, and President & COO of Percussion Software. His venture capital experience includes leadership roles at NeoCarta Ventures and Highgate Ventures, as well as an Associate position at GE Equity.

Mark holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Economics from Stanford University.1
