Mark Nelson

Mark Nelson is the Executive Chairman of Caledonia Investments Group, a position he has held since January 2012. He also serves as a Director of The Caledonia Foundation, a role he has maintained since August 2002. His extensive background in the investment community, particularly in life sciences, enhances his strategic contributions to the board.23

Education and Early Career

Dr. Nelson earned his Bachelor of Science (Honors) and Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge. Before becoming Executive Chairman, he was the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Caledonia from February 1992 to January 2012.12
