Mark Laska

Dr. Mark S. Laska is an environmental industry pioneer and a leading authority on ecological habitat restoration, mitigation banking, and Natural Resource Damage. With a PhD from Rutgers University, an MS from Fordham University, and a BA from the University of Colorado Boulder, Dr. Laska is a highly educated and experienced individual in the field of environmental science and project development.

As the Founder and President of Great Ecology, a consulting company established in 2001 during the rise of the green movement, Dr. Laska has been at the forefront of driving innovation in restoration ecology, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability. He is also a co-founder in Eco Endowment Solutions, a division of Carmel Capital focusing on managing environmental endowments for conservation properties.
