Mark Kropf is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in leading software engineering and infrastructure organizations.

Currently serving as the Global Chief Technology Officer at Pivotal, he is instrumental in defining technology vision and strategy for top customers as they transition to cloud computing and continuous integration and deployment practices.

Mark's journey at Pivotal began as the principal product manager responsible for key developments like PCF 1.0 and the windows development practice.

His role expanded to leading the Strategic Product Organization, where he managed a global team of product managers to shape Pivotal roadmaps with valuable client feedback.

Before his tenure at Pivotal, Mark held the position of GM of Emerging Technologies at Diebold, Inc., and has been a significant contributor to the growth and success of Cloud Foundry since 2011.

Mark Kropf's expertise has earned him 5 granted patents for technology in enterprise software and financial services sectors, showcasing his innovative contributions to the industry.

Mark studied Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at The University of Akron and also pursued BS in International Business at Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo.

His professional journey includes roles as Technical Director at Google Cloud, Member of the Board of Advisors at Meet Copper, and various positions within Pivotal focusing on product management and technology leadership.
