Mark Koberlein

Mark Koberlein is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of communication design, web development, mobile applications, game design, interactive design, client-side and server-side programming, and animation.

Currently serving as a tenured professor at Northampton Community College, Mark teaches a wide range of courses involving web design, mobile applications, game design, interactive design, and programming.

In addition to his role in academia, Mark is an independent application developer with over 20 years of experience working on web and mobile projects for various companies in the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, and New York.

Mark is the founder of Parker West, LLC, a company that specializes in interactive product development, focusing on digital publishing and web/mobile product creation.

With a Master of Fine Arts in Interactive Design and Game Development from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his professional endeavors.

He has a keen interest in Japan and regularly travels to the country with students, showcasing his commitment to cultural experiences and education.

Mark's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies from Messiah College, complementing his technical expertise with a diverse academic foundation.

Throughout his career, Mark has held various key positions in notable organizations such as Chief Technical Officer at Menu Genie, Founder of Lehigh Valley Tech, and Director of Web Development at Hotwire Communications, among others.

His roles in academia, industry, and entrepreneurship demonstrate his versatile skill set and a strong commitment to innovation and excellence.
