Mark Knippenberg

Mark Knippenberg is the Chief Executive Officer of the World Scout Foundation, a position he has held since September 1, 2021. He has a strong background in leadership and management, having previously served as the director at Kandersteg International Scout Centre.

Knippenberg holds a Master of Science (MSc) in International Executive Management, which he completed between 2013 and 2015, and has also pursued further education in organizational leadership. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Navigation and Marine Engineering, which he obtained from 1985 to 1989.124

In addition to his role at the World Scout Foundation, Knippenberg is actively involved in volunteering for Scouting, where he supports young leaders and contributes to the development of the movement.23
