Mark Kang

Mark Kang, a highly experienced media executive with an impressive background in finance, has become a major player in the entertainment industry, serving as the Head of Worldwide Distribution at INSP and Imagicomm Entertainment. Kang started his career in finance, working at Morgan Stanley and Tiedemann Investment Group, where he gained expertise in the media and communication sectors. After that, he served as Vice President of Affiliate Relations at Court TV, now known as TruTV, and as Senior Vice President at Sportsman Channel.
In addition to his experience in the entertainment industry, Kang also worked as a Talent Agent at International Artists Agency, where he represented Grammy and Tony Award-winning artists in hip hop and Broadway genres. Kang's diverse professional experience and leadership led to his appointment as Vice Chair of the National Board of Directors at NAMIC. Kang is also an Executive Producer for Spike Lee and Barry Alexander Brown's Son of the South, a film that focuses on the Civil Rights Movement in the US.
Kang received his BS in Business and Economics from Wheaton College. He later pursued an Executive Leadership Development Program Fellowship in Media Studies at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. Kang currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife Monique and their three daughters.
