Mark Hutchison

Mark A. Hutchison, a native Las Vegan, is a highly experienced attorney and the senior member of the Firm. He holds an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell®. Mark graduated Phi Kappa Phi with high distinction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and obtained his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University. He was elected to the prestigious Order of the Coif and served as a Lead-Articles Editor of the Law Review. Mark clerked for the Honorable Kenneth F. Ripple of the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago before joining the national law firm of Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago and Los Angeles. Specializing in civil litigation, Mark has tried numerous cases in state and federal courts across the West, including Nevada, California, Arizona, and Wyoming. He is admitted to practice in various federal courts and has appeared before the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mark's distinguished career also includes service on the Nevada Commission on Ethics and as Nevada's 34th Lt. Governor, having been elected to the State Senate in 2012.
