Mark Hurst is a seasoned business and operating leader with a track record for driving revenue and creating significant value for emerging businesses in various industries, including e-commerce, SaaS, marketplaces, B2B, and adtech. He is a solutions-oriented problem solver with a passion for disruptive technologies, innovation-driven opportunities, and scaling companies. Over his career, Mark has raised over $300M in equity financing from venture capital and institutional investors and led the successful completion of more than five M&A transactions representing over $200M in transaction value.
Mark studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned his BS in Mathematics. Before starting his own company, HurstX Solutions, Mark served in various leadership positions in top-tier technology companies. He was the Vice President of Corporate Development and Business Operations at Deem, Inc., Senior Director of Business Operations at Deem, Inc., Vice President of Emerging Segments at HouseCanary, and Vice President of Sales Operations and Strategy at HouseCanary, among others.
As CEO of HurstX Solutions, Mark helps companies shorten the path to financial viability and scale their business operations. His specialties include ecosystem development, growth initiatives, sales operations, capital-raising, financial modeling and forecasting, data strategy and deal execution, to mention a few.
Mark is also involved in various organizations, including NAR REACH (as a mentor), Terner Center for Housing Innovation (as an advisor), and Plug and Play Tech Center (as an advisor), among others. He is the former Founder and CEO of p5n Tribe and a former Author at REw3 and Podcaster at Proptech Espresso.
